coastal use -side openings closed at sea -male crew and passengers briefed about use of toilets to prevent dangerous position -weed and other fouling immediately cleared from deck -if oil falls above deck, it must be immediately cleaned with solvent -no wires, cables or hoses impeding free passage on deck |

CRANE USE ( the crane is protected against overload ) |
-only qualified operators -nobody except operators in the crane radius -glasses, gloves and protection boots for any crane handling operation -when above deck, load is to be kept as low as possible -no damaged lifting slings -use of crane and no manual handling of heavy items, to prevent back pain |

| DIVERS SAFETY |
-always 2 divers on board, and one dedicated assistant -at least 2 persons able to answer immediately the question " Where is the diver ?" -reducing of in water time by proper use of crane and tools -wireless surface-diver communication if necessary -use of U/W video to brief everybody concerned by diver's job -engine start procedure strictly controlled to forbid any risk with propellers -no object or chain able to fall overboard on diver |

-position of fire fighting equipment is posted on the main door
and in the wheelhouse -no welding or torch above aluminium but strictly over steel plate or non fire material -water bucket ready -petrol engine tools : permanent check of tanks and cans. Forbidden in accomodation. -2 persons when using torch, one close to gas valves, ready to shut them -INISHGLAS IS A STRICTLY NON SMOKING VESSEL |
